New drivers taking the dmv practice permit test may be grouped into 2 unique groups: Drivers over 18 who apply for a regular drivers license and Drivers under 18 who get a Instruction Permit.
The written test for each is different. If you are over 18, your written test is generally based on the ordinary Drivers Manual. For anyone who is under 18 your DMV Instruction Permit Test is usually based on the Driver Manual and the Parent Teen Training Guide.
