Wedding Planning: First Look

I wanted to briefly touch on the topic of the first look. Doing a first look is something that is pretty popular in some other parts of the country, but not so much in the South just yet ;) Some people don’t really even know what it is! A first look is when the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony during a private moment between just the two of them (and us of course, but we try to stay as far away as possible :) ) While Matt and I chose not to do a first look, I wasn’t opposed to doing one. I was pretty neutral on the matter, and I think the reason we decided not to go forward with it was our parents :) We were afraid we’d broken enough tradition for them to swallow and that might have sent them over the edge! :) Truthfully though, looking back I think I wish I had done one. The reason is I’m not a “center of attention” kind of girl. Matter of fact, I loathe being the center of attention and I do not like a lot of eyes on me. I’ll quietly sink into the corner any day and be happy :) I remember as I was walking down the aisle during my wedding being really nervous- not about seeing my groom, but I could FEEL all these eyes on me!! I think if Matt and I had seen each other before I wouldn’t have been so jittery and worried about everyone staring at me. This is just me and my personality though. A first look is certainly not for everyone! Matt and Leslie are Charlotte Wedding Photographers and Charleston, SC Wedding Photographers.

Essential Oil

Some essential oils could be used for healing infections. Many people try and heal themselves with natural products first and then seek a medical help. I personally also use essential oil mostly as a cosmetic. Very often I use it to scent my room if I am waiting guests. The strong fragrance of the essential oil has captured the imagination of men and women and they all buy products containing essential oil. It is extracted from different plants and trees and thats why it has such a positive effect wherever used.

Avandia Lawsuits Continue to Mount

Even though the diabetes drug Avandia is now highy restricted, the lawsuits over the heart attacks, strokes and other cardiovascular health problems continue to be filed. The FDA found clear evidence of Avandia being linked to more than 83,000 heart attacks as of 2007, yet allowed the drug to remain in widespread use until last year. The US Senate, which investigated Avandia deaths, stated that Avandia was causing 500 avoidable heart attacks each and every month, which means that it is likely Avandia caused closer to one hundred thousand heart attacks, possibly an equal number of strokes and even more occurrences of other forms of cardiovascular diseases. Yet there have only been 15,000 estimated Avandia lawsuits filed so far. With as many as 250,000 potential Avandia lawsuits, many of those who may file are facing time limits that may be quickly approaching.
