Antragsberechtigt sind ebenso auch jene, die bislang nicht erwerbsttig waren, also auch Studierende oder Hausfrauen.
Achtung: Versicherte bei der gesetzlichen Krankenkasse sind whrend der Elternzeit automatisch kostenlos versichert, privat Versicherte nicht.
Wie ist ein Antrag auf Elterngeld zu stellen?
Die Erziehungsberechtigte sollten auf keinen Fall vergessen, den Antrag auf Elterngeld rechtzeitig bei der Elterngeldstelle einzureichen, da rckwirkend nur fr die drei Lebensmonate vor dem Monat, in dem der Antrag eingegangen ist, Elterngeld ausgezahlt wird.
Einige Unterlagen mssen zusammen mit dem Antrag auf Elterngeld eingereicht werden, darunter ein Nachweis ber den monatlichen Verdienst vor der Geburt des Babys, eine Geburtsbescheinigung des Nachwuches und die Eigenauskunft ber die zuknftig geplante Arbeitszeit. Der Elterngeldantrag muss bei der dafr verantwortlichen Elterngeldstelle abgegeben werden.
